TMM #011: 🧠 The neuroscience of manifesting

Manifestation might just be the answer, and it’s even backed up by neuroscience. In this week’s issue of The Manifestor’s Manifesto, I’m going to scratch that skeptical, analytical itch of yours so you can confidently manifest what sets your soul on fire.

First, let's take a look at the Reticular Activating System (RAS), a part of your brain that acts as a filter, sorting through the vast amount of information that your brain receives and highlighting what's important to you.

By setting a clear intention and focusing your mind on a specific goal, you can train your RAS to filter information that's relevant to achieving that goal, making you more aware of opportunities and resources that you may have previously overlooked.

Not only that – by programming your subconscious mind and RAS with the manifestation you want, your brain will automatically trigger the thoughts, feelings, and actions necessary to manifest what you want.

But what if you need an extra push to focus your thoughts and beliefs towards your goals?

How can you actually “program” your mind? That's where hypnosis comes in.

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility that can help you tap into the power of your mind to achieve your goals.

During hypnosis, the brain enters a trance-like state that allows it to bypass critical thinking and access the subconscious mind, where limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns are stored.

The neuroscience behind hypnosis suggests that it works by changing the brain's neural pathways and modifying the way that the brain processes information.

Hypnosis can reduce the activity in the default mode network, a part of the brain associated with self-referential thinking, and increase activity in the salience network, which is involved in the detection of important events.

This shift in brain activity can help you become more receptive to suggestions that align with your goals, making it easier to manifest them.

By combining the power of manifesting and hypnosis, you can reprogram your mind to focus on your goals and achieve success.

With the help of your RAS, you can train your brain to seek out and focus on information that supports your goals, while hypnosis can help you eliminate limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns that may be holding you back.

Basically, your brain is like a heat seeking missile and hypnosis is how you’re going to program that missile with a specific target (your manifestation).
